Last week I have been meditating on my First Chakra ( you can find all the lessons under the top header of this blog).

This is what I made.

Endometriosis can be very sly. Making you feel allright for a while and then suddenly striking at 4 AM... 

I think this piece reveals the shape of endometriosis cavities which grow inside my belly. But it also shows the relief after avery strike: the cloud brings coldness and the sun/mandala helps focusing on healing.

And now a couple of Russian Dolls. Sorry for the one on the right: there was some bleedthrough from the Chakra page...

At last!

My Seventh Chakra artwork for the CHAKRART FREE WORKSHOP is ready!!

I want to send a BIG HUG to all the wonderful Souls who have joined the workshop and showed us their amazing artworks! 

And to those who have joined later and are still creating their pieces! 

I'm really happy about the success of this humble workshop and all the appreciation from you all.

It has been a fantastic experience and I hope it has been the same for you.

The workshop will stay open until March 2014, so you can still join in.

For those who have completed the path: you can post new artworks whenever you feel like meditating on the chakras. Each time will be different! :)

And I'm already projecting a new FREE workshop. So, stay tuned!

Art Journal: Sixth Lesson of ChakrART FREE Workshop

I finally made it!

It has been a long time before getting to a result with my sixth chakra meditation for the

CHAKRART FREE WORKSHOP (open March 4th, 2013 to March 4th, 2014).

Sometimes wisdom can be find in the smallest things.

It reads "Wisdom is the Key". The key to what? To EVERYTHING! If you look at what surrounds you with your inner eye, you will be able to find wisdom even in a raindrop. :)

It's been a collage frenzy week, and I'm late with my Vishuddha Chakra work for the CHAKRART FREE WORKSHOP.

 I had fun making it. That shouting "mutant" really resembles me when I say "What?". Ehehehe!!

I was a very (aggressive) shy teenager, and the first thing that I had to learn when I started my first job was "communication". All my jobs have always dealt with customers, so I had to "wake up" and start talking. 

The second thing I learned was to tell annoying people (so called friends or acquaintances) that I didn't want to listen to them anymore. I had enough of spending my time listening to problems that were not mine and not being listened to when I needed to talk about mine.

It was (and still is) very liberating. :)

So this is my piece for the Vishuddha Chakra.

Art Journal: Fourth Lesson of ChakrART FREE Workshop

And here we are halfway to the top chakra!! :)

Anahata, the Heart Chakra.

The page reads: "Love all Creatures!".

All I can tell about this journal page is that I'm one of those individuals who get better along with animals than with  people. I'm kind of a loner, even though when I'm in a group I usually end up being the one who makes everyone laugh. As many people suffering from depression ups and downs, I have always found this sentence from "The show Must Go On" song by Queen very descriptive of me:

"Inside my heart is breaking,
My make-up may be flaking,
But my smile, still, stays on!"

I like making people laugh, seeing happy people, because I know how bad is feeling blue and hurting.

And this extends also to furry friends. I always feel a sense of protection towards animals. 

This is my piece for this week's lesson. A tribute to all creatures.

Art Journal: Third Lesson of ChakrART FREE Workshop

I know I'm very late on posting my Third Chakra work!  It has been a busy week, and I had also to make a couple of  custom drawings.

Here we go with Manipura Chakra!

As I wrote on Facebook yesterday, it reads:"Can you feel the POWER?". I know it is very simple, but it came to me like that, and I didn't feel the urge to add more. This is a very disturbing chakra to me. It is related to self-esteem, and I'm still working on it. :)

For POWER I usually mean the ability to create something. 

When I was a young girl I used to write "poems" and short stories, and created worlds with my imagination.

Then I have been creatiing silver and stones bijoux for almost 15 years.

Now I'm hooked on drawing and discovered mixed media.

And I think I have finally found my ideal medium

. I can combine words and images to arouse emotions and make people smile.

That's what I want to do. :)

The Second Lesson: Svadhishtana Chakra has been posted  and we already have the first works arriving!

My entry for the Secon Week of CHAKRART FREE WORKSHOP deals with TRANSFORMATION.

It reads: " Every life is a continuous transformation. In the end we all become a beautiful butterfly".

I have used a half face I made some time ago. I thought it would make a nice butterly wing, so I glued it opposite to the other drawn wing.

My life has been (and is) a continuous transformation, full of good and bad experiences.

The important thing is to keep on living, learning, growing, because everything you learn will be useful one day.

Now, show me your works!

A little explanation:

This is my weakest chakra. It has always been.

In fact, all my lifelong healthy troubles are linked to it.

Scoliosis, endometriosis, feet and legs pains, contractions.

Visualization, mediatation and my crystals help me a lot, but it's a long way to healing.
This is what I saw during my visualization: I think I need to love myself and my body more.
