Quick Update #3: Be Careful What you Ask for...

It looks like that the old saying "Be careful what you ask for, because you could get it" works...

This year I have been asking for changes, and changes I'm getting, althought not the way I thought.

I laugh because, otherwise, I would walk around the house crying like a baby.

My request for changes for the better had the following results:

- hubby lost his job

- lots of $$$ flying away for a new exhaust pipe for our building

- reduction of my working hours: 6 to 4, with consequent loss of $$$ each month

- probable redundancy payment with consequent further loss of $$$ each month.

I must have made some mistakes when asking... :)

On the other hand, I'm happy because I sold some of my drawings. It's not much, but I'm glad anyway. 

Now I have to put them on Etsy and make some promotion. :)

And I'm also glad the injection I had last month is working. It means less pain and the possibility of having surgery next year! YAY!

And on we go with some new pieces!

Quick Update #2: Society6 & a Handmade Journal

This month is going to be the Quick Updates Month. Eheheh!!

In September I found out that my endometriosis has sufaced again, and my doctor had me an injection that will prepare me for surgery (I hope) in January/February.

This injection has many side effects and I am suffering almost all of them.

So, until december I will have to keep calm, come back from work and lay down on my couch and make some art. I'm feeling like a one hundred years old. :)

But let's talk about art now!

This is what I've been up lately.

I have opened a SOCIETY6 SHOP! There you can find cards, ihpone covers, tote bags, pillows...

I really like the tote bags and the pillows. They could be nice Yule presents. :)

And, with the same style, I made a little journal for a friend.

I'll try to post something more during the weekend!

Zazzle Adventure?! & New Etsy Mini Mini Journals

I'm very curious, I know. :)
Yesterday I was browsing throught my favorite blogs, and I saw this Zazzle Ad. I promptly clicked and entered a wonderful world!!
I started uploading some of my drawings and creating some objects!! Wow! That's fun!!
And the personalized POSTAGE STAMPS? A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! I had received an ATC envelope with a couple of Zazzle stamps. It's a pity I live in Italy, I would have bought tons!!
