Sketching while in Bed

I'm still not very well after last week's tonsillitis, but I had to go back to work.
But even if I was ill, I kept on doodling and drawing!!! :)
Here are some sketches I made while in bed:

Christmas Cards

This "doodling" year cannot end without some Christmas/Yule Cards.
I received orders from some friends, and started working on them.
The three "girls" have already been sold. :))

Carpisa Ads & Doodles

Yesterday, while reading the newspaper, I found some pages with ads by this bags/purses franchising brand, Carpisa, popular here in Italy.
I was very glad to see that doodles and zentangles have been used for their winter ads.

First Try at ATCs/ACEOs & Another One by my Niece

While browsing some newly added items on Etsy, I stumbled upon some wonderful ACEO artists' shops, and fell in love with this kind of "micro" art.
I then googled the words "ACEO/ATC" and found lots of information and wonderful pieces of art, all over the world.
ACEO stands for "Art Cards, Editions and Originals". They have a standard size of 2.5 by 3.5 inches and can be made of different media. ATCs ("Artist Trading Cards") are made for trading among artists only. ACEOs are made for selling to the general art lovers.
You can sell/trade Originals and Prints, and you can also make Numbered/Limited Editions.
Both ACEOs and ATCs must be signed, dated and/or numbered on the back, and you can also add the materiarls you used.

So I thought: "Why not give it a try?"
I used my "heads" and "girls" as my first models.
Here is the result, yet to be completed.

My niece is getting more and more creative.
Look at her latest piece. :)

Timelessrituals Deviantart Page

I've been a Deviantart fan for years.
Last week I decided to subscribe and start a gallery of my drawings.
I'm still trying to figure out all its features, but I like it.
Do you have a Deviantart account? Let me know and I'll visit you!!

Some of my Niece's Art

Yesterday I was drawing with my Italian niece. She was very amazed by my "girls" and decided to create some of her own. This is the result of the drawing session:

More Curlies and Sketches

Yesterday I bought a camera. Funny but I haven't got one in years, and usually borrowed my father's.
Now I'm the owner of a Nikon Coolpix, small and simple to use.
So today I'm posting some photos, instead of scanned images.
I'm not very good a photographer, so they could result a little ugly.... I'll do better next time. :))
Lately I've left behind my usual doodling and become obsessed by faces, hats, hair and dresses.
Hope you like them as you liked the first ones! :)

Last Curly.... :)

Ok. I couldn't resist!
This is the last Curly Head for this week. I'm getting a little obsessed. :))

Another Curly

You know, when I start making something I like, I usually keep on making it until something else attracts my attention.
I made a series of these Curly Heads to hang on my new Venetian Stucco house walls.
