Friday Idea & 23rd Pattern

It's too hot these days for staying at the PC. We are experiencing a huge heat wave in Italy, and I don't have air conditioning!!!!
So I made my fan my best friend and and try to draw something.

This week I have been asked to become Admin of the Zentangle: Journaled and Tangled FB group!
I am so excited! I have been tangling for 5 years now and this for me is a sort of reward for my efforts to improve my skills. :)
Thank you, Alice and Jane, for this opportunity! :)

In the group we host a weekly challenge called Friday Idea.
Come join us! :)
This week's Idea is
FOUND POETRY - CUT UP

Directions:
1)Take a page from an old book, cut out words or sentences and combine them into a poem
2) Draw your tangle
3) Glue your poem on your tangle
4) Show us your work!

Cut Up is one of the techniques used in Found Poetry.

From Wikipedia:
"Found poetry is a type of poetry created by taking words, phrases, and sometimes whole passages from other sources and reframing them as poetry by making changes in spacing and lines, or by adding or deleting text, thus imparting new meaning".

 Here is mine

#1 - "MURDER":
Movement.
Impossible,
atavistic rage.
Obliteration.
Shock.
Oblivion.
Unconsciousness.
No life

#2 -"EXPECTATION":
Expectation,
properly fortified,
obscured by shadows
of passion.

ROLLUP
Here it is!

Have a great weekend!

  2. I love the idea of creating found poetry. I am going to do it this weekend. I haven't done that for a long time! It is such a great way to stretch the imagination.

I really like your intricate zentangles and I appreciate the instructions to create the "Roll Up".
