Doodle Cat & Hoot! Cards

I haven't been blogging for some days.
My teeth are destroying my focus. It's not a good year. I hope everything is going to be better soon, because I'm a little bit tired of continuous pain.
So, for now I'll post one of my new doodles. It's called DOODLE CAT.
Enjoy!!

And here's one of my new Etsy Shop items:

  1. I love your cat and hope that your teeth settle down quickly. Pain really sucks, doesn't it? If you haven't experienced chronic pain, you really don't know how debilitating it can be. If you have, the fact that you managed to create ANY art is truly astounding!

  2. I don't like to draw when I'm out of it either, sometimes I just want to chill and watch the telly. A long time ago I was in a major funk. And I just stopped drawing all together. One day I was sitting in my favorite chair trying to meditate . I picked up a pen and paper and not trying to draw anything I made up a game. I call it straight line curve line. Draw a straight lin and with out picking up the pencil draw a curved line and continue till the page is full. It ends up looking like a Keith Herring kind of drawing. So then after looking at it for a while I start to see things in the drawing more representational things and I start to draw back in to it and pull out what ever I see. I use this practice in a drawing workshop for kids. I find it's the most relaxing way to get in the zone, I use it a lot when I am confronted with something and just don't want to draw and after a while something just opens up. I end up filling 4 or 5 or 8 pages with no pressure to draw anything just let the drawing come out. It's really getting into the zone meditative drawing. Try it on for size . Ciao
