Friday Idea & 23rd Pattern

It's too hot these days for staying at the PC. We are experiencing a huge heat wave in Italy, and I don't have air conditioning!!!!
So I made my fan my best friend and and try to draw something.

This week I have been asked to become Admin of the Zentangle: Journaled and Tangled FB group!
I am so excited! I have been tangling for 5 years now and this for me is a sort of reward for my efforts to improve my skills. :)
Thank you, Alice and Jane, for this opportunity! :)

In the group we host a weekly challenge called Friday Idea.
Come join us! :)
This week's Idea is
FOUND POETRY - CUT UP

Directions:
1)Take a page from an old book, cut out words or sentences and combine them into a poem
2) Draw your tangle
3) Glue your poem on your tangle
4) Show us your work!

Cut Up is one of the techniques used in Found Poetry.

From Wikipedia:
"Found poetry is a type of poetry created by taking words, phrases, and sometimes whole passages from other sources and reframing them as poetry by making changes in spacing and lines, or by adding or deleting text, thus imparting new meaning".

#1 - "MURDER":
Movement.
Impossible,
atavistic rage.
Obliteration.
Shock.
Oblivion.
Unconsciousness.
No life

#2 -"EXPECTATION":
Expectation,
properly fortified,
obscured by shadows
of passion.

Zentangle: Stacked and Tangled & Zentangle: Journaled and Tangled

Hellooo!!
This month I have joined two amazing FaceBook Groups about Zentangles

and

Alice and Jane have taken the zentangling movement to a higher level, using stacking and journaling to enhance the Zentangle experience.
I'm having a lot of fun lately with circle templates, and our super Admins asked me to write a post for our weekly Idea for Participation in both groups!!
I'm sooooooo excited!! :)

So, here we go!
If you haven't joined the groups, yet, do it now! You won't regret it.

This is the Idea:
  • draw a 4 inches or 12 cm circle on your paper or journal
  • with a pencil draw a string (if you are creating a stacked circle, make sure your strings follow the same direction. See samples below and guidelines in the group)
  • Tangle!!!
 Here are some samples:

Enjoy your Zenstacking and Zenjournaling!! :)
