Happy 2013!

My sister and nephews have finally got to Europe and now they are staying here in Italy for another week.

That's why I haven't posted anything since Decembre 24th. 

But I've been making art anyway. 

The first page of my new project (a yearly Art Journal) is now ready.

So here is January 2013 Calendar page (I will make a calendar page for every month together with other journaling pages).

As I wrote in one of my FB posts, I have been thinking about starting an art journal.

I had already tried it a couple of years ago, but I abandoned it very soon.

Last week I have found some interesting journaling blogs and websites on Pinterest, and started watching videos. There are quite a lot of amazing journal artists out there!!

So, I gathered up all my artsy belongings that I have collected during the years and never used, and pulled out a big Moleskine journal that had been eyeing at me for a while.

The idea is to make a year round journal in which to pour all my thoughts.

I titled it "2013 Believe in Yourself".

Angel

Lately I'm back to angels.

I'm finishing some custom orders and family gifts.

Sister and family and moving to Europe tomorrow and we are very happy. They are coming home! Even if they are at some 5 hours flight. Eheheh! But it won't be the usual 14 hours.

Tomorrow I'll start my 2 weeks vacation, so I'll be able to post more often in the next days.

New Drawings, First Snow & 2013 Workbooks

My foot is getting better. On Monday I'll leave my crutches. Yay!

Winter is approaching here in Northern Italy, while in the South it's still warm. I like Autumn and Winter time, but here it's very humid, and that's not good for my bones. Anyway it's very humid in Summer, too, and it's not funny either. :)

Yesterday we had our first snow. Started soon this year.

So I picked up my blanket and kept up drawing, while making plans for 2013.

If my 2012 word was "LEARN", my 2013 one will be "ACTION". I'll explain this in another post.
