This week I chose an Australian Goddess. I like reading about mythology, and I find Aboriginal myths very fascinating. Many years ago, when I was into my Shamanic time, I read and practised Native American, Celtic and Aboriginal Shamanic Journeys. While listening to the didjeridoo I made my most wonderful trips into myself. I don't know why I stopped doing that... maybe because my life went to pieces and I had to restart again with new interests. Maybe it's time to start again. It could be useful for improving my drawing skills.
Australian Goddess: Yingarna
She is the female Rainbow Serpent Goddess of Northern Autralia tribes. She is a creator Goddess: using her powers of transformation she eats half-human/half-animal beings and regurgitates them as humans.
Show me yours!
My Goddess is also associated with a Rainbow serpent...have awesome your spiritual life has been up to now...I lived in australia as a child, and always wanted to meet the aboriginal people, love the primal sound of the digerido :D XXX
