Back with some new Art

Hello everyone!!
I'm finally back from my (other) hometown in Abruzzi!
I had the lucky chance of meeting some long time good friends from all over Italy and my sweet relatives. I have spent such a great time with them!
And I also had some time for thinking about my life and what I want to do with it (kaizen - kaizen - kaizen!!!).
So, stay tuned for news! :)

Here are some photos of Città Sant'Angelo (Pescara), a wonderful Medieval town stretched down the hills between the Adriatic Sea and the Grans Sasso and Maiella Mountains.
Definitely worth a visit if you come to Italy. :)

As soon as I got back home I took my art supplies and started painting!!
I looked like an addict! Ehehehe!!
So, here what I came up to.

Have a great weekend!

Found Poetry & FREEBIE Friday

Last post before leaving!
Next week I'm going to Abruzzi with my parents, because they have to sign some documents for my late aunt's house. I'm going to stay at least 2 weeks. Internet connection has always been very difficult there, so I think I'll post photos and such when I come home.

I'm leaving you with another page of my Mixed Media Found Poetry little book.
You can find a short sample video of it in my YOUTUBE CHANNEL
If you want to know what Found Poetry is, please read my previous posts. :)

It reads:
"My art
is a gift of the gods.
Mistery and
wonder"
Postcard size

And now to FREEBIE FRIDAY!
This week I want to share with you one of my digital papers.
It is for PERSONAL USE. Please, DON'T resell it or include it in personal or commercial collections.

Have a great weekend!

Don't worry, Mom! I'll protect your Supplies!

This is what my friend Cream is telling me. :)

During the last week I have been working on an art project: a Found Poetry & Mixed Media "book".
See my PREVIOUS POST for an explanation of what is Found Poetry.

First I have painted, collaged and doodled some background pages (front and back) and then cut them into postcard size cards.

I have used an old Italian edition of "The Portrait of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde.
The collaged elements are also from scrap pages of the novel.

From each page I chose words or phrases and arranged them into new meanings. Then I glued each "poem" to each art card.

This is the cover. It says:
" The most famous
portrait
creates huge sensation.
Confinement.
Humiliation."

I am now trying to create a video of all the pages.
For now I can only share a short sample:

See you for the complete video!!
