My 14th Tangle: Skuared & Commissioned Pieces

For all you Zentangle and Doodle lovers, here is my new tangle
SKUARED

Doodling was my first passion when I started this blog three years ago and, even if my style has changed a lot during this time, I always love to combine it to my drawings.

One of the best things that happened to me after being fired is that I have received some custom orders from friends and customers. This gave me a renewed stimulus to reopen my Etsy Shop in January and trying to show off my art to more friends and family. :)
The following are a couple of custom orders I made lately:

(This one is big size: 50x40 cm canvas cardboard)

Last week I have used the remnants of my color ink-cartridge to print out the
2014 Create your Amazing Year Workbooks/Planners and Calendars.
It's been two years since I joined Leonie Dawson's group and, although I am a procrastinator in everything, I have been able to put into practice her tips with quite nice results. Of course, being a procrastinator is not good when you are trying to follow a yearly experience, and I get often distracted by so many things!!  So, one of my commitments for next year will be to focus on the Workbooks, both Life and Business, and change my life for real.

That's all, Folks, for today!

And don't forget to have a look at Pepi's Magazine and take a chance of being published!

Long Holiday

*********
THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL THE WONDERFUL SOULS WHO PURCHASED ITEMS USING MY LINKS! YOU MADE ME EARN COMMISSIONS AND HELPED ME DURING THIS HARD KNOCKS!!!!
*********
Helloooo!
Doing a lot this week.
In the next months I'll have to spend money wisely. I started to sort my art supplies so that I won't have to buy anything for a long time.
No, don't worry about me blarbing about my unemployment again and again.
This is a doodle/art/whimsical blog and I want to be a happy place to visit. I will keep my complaining sporadic. :)
I still have to catch up with my last drawings, so here are some more.
But before I post them, let me talk about a new lovely Mixed-Media Magazine that I downloaded two days ago:
It is written and produced by Pepi and seeking for articles and tutorials contributors. Check out the last page for the rules.

Oh! And my Society6 totebags have arrived!! It took almost a month and I was losing all hopes of seeing them (in Italy it's not unusual that sometimes packages get "lost").
The cotton is very strong and they are soooo big! Love them!!

And now up to my drawings. What do you think?

Have a great weekend!

Don't Worry about Mondays

Hello Peeps!!
How are you all?
WOW! This time I have been away from my blog for a whole month!
In my Quick Update: #3 post, almost two months ago, I wrote that this year I asked for changes. There have been changes, but not the ones I thought of... Well, at the end of November I received the last (I hope) one: I HAVE BEEN FIRED!!! Ouch! That's not fair, Universe! My hubby cannot find a job, and now THIS!?

OK. Let's think about it: did I make any mistakes when asking for changes?
Or it's the Universe that has a strange sense of humor?
On a second thought I decided that it was a MESSAGE and that I wasn't understanding it...
Maybe the Universe is trying to tell me that I need to start anew? To focus on what I want to do instead of what I have to do?
I have been pondering the pros and cons, and I concluded that the worst con is that I won't have a regular salary. But, anyway, for the next 8 months I will receive an unemployment check from the government.
And the pros?
As I wrote in my FB wall, one of the positive things about being unemployed is that you don't have to worry about Mondays. Ehehe!
This is a good start, isn't it?
Other pros are:
- Having more time for focusing on my online shop and expand my internet activity
- Being able to draw more

I don't feel like taking this situation as a negative one.
Instead, I want to concentrate on the positive aspects of it.
It won't be an easy time, but hubby and I will live through it and find the light at the end of the tunnel.

Seeking for help, today I printed the 2014 Create your Amazing Year Workbook, Planner and Calendar. Both Life and Business Editions (click image for link). In 2013 I have used the Life Edition, and I can affirm that it is very useful. So next year I will use the Business Edition, too.
If you have never tried these workbooks, you have missed something. :)
Let's see what will happen in 2014!! :)

I have a lot of pics of my latest drawings to show you.
I will post them in my next blogposts.
Here's a taste of them:
See you soon!!
