My 9th Tangle Pattern: TREE-THREE & New Doodle Pages

Due to a continuous stressful time (last but not least: the water heater died and I don't know how to pay for a new one....) when I'm home I try to relax and calm down my thoughts through doodling.

Yesterday I came up with a new tangle pattern.
I called it TREE-THREE.
Samples coming soon.

Here is a doodle page with my KAKTI tangle.

And another page with butterflies.

That's all for today.
I hope things are getting better. I'm a little tired of all the little troubles happening lately. I know there is a message from the universe in them, but at the moment I cannot see it...

My 8th Tangle Pattern: KAKTI & a New Couple of Collages

After almost 2 years (!!!) I have created a new tangle pattern.

I called it KAKTI.

You can see a sample of it in my previous post. It's one of the thumbs of the hands doodle.

For more of my tangles visit MY TANGLES page.

Last week I took some new artwork to my workplace and hanged them on the wall.
They make a neat spot of color.
I took some photos. Sorry for the bad quality, but they are inside plexiglass frames.

Back to Doodles!

It has been a tough week. Big headaches, backpain and more.
So I went back to my most relaxing occupation; DOODLING.
And I have been doodling all the weekend!

But first I want to show you another page of my collage journal.
I'm very happy with it..

Enjoy the Silence & Butterfly Doodle

All of my life I have been working among people, as an interpreter and saleswoman.
Now I'm a cashier at a self-service restaurant, and I'm always in the middle of noise: people chatting and kitchen clattering.
So, when I come home I really enjoy the silence.

And in the silence I can draw and color very well.

Here is another page of my new art journal. Those butterfly-things keep popping out everywhere! :)

Dylusionals Inks, Ink and Collage.

And I have been also back to B/W doodling.
Still butterflies....Might be a subtle unconscious message? :)

Inl on Moleskine.

Art Journal: ART is Peace of Mind

I find making art very relaxing.
What about you?
It relaxes my nerves, eases my pain and lets my mind wander and don't  get stuck on troubles.
Do you feel the same when you create your art?

I have been using some Dylusions Spray Inks for my backgrounds. They are cool!! Lots of combinations of colors!
I was thinking of making some prints for my Etsy Shop.

Art Journal: Seventh Lesson of ChakrART FREE Workshop

At last!
My Seventh Chakra artwork for the CHAKRART FREE WORKSHOP is ready!!

I want to send a BIG HUG to all the wonderful Souls who have joined the workshop and showed us their amazing artworks!
And to those who have joined later and are still creating their pieces!
I'm really happy about the success of this humble workshop and all the appreciation from you all.
It has been a fantastic experience and I hope it has been the same for you.
The workshop will stay open until March 2014, so you can still join in.
For those who have completed the path: you can post new artworks whenever you feel like meditating on the chakras. Each time will be different! :)
And I'm already projecting a new FREE workshop. So, stay tuned!

Here is my mixed media piece.
When I saw that cockatoo I knew that it was going to represent my crown chakra!

Have a great weekend!!

Last of "Art as I See It" Journal & Niece's Collage

Last pages for the "Art as I See It" journal!

They read:
1) "Every child is an artist. The problem is staying an artist when you grow up" (Pablo Picasso)
2) "Think left and think right, and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up, if only you try" (Dr. Seuss)

(the flying muffins' wings have been made with the two halves of a croissant)

And here is a wonderful artwork by my niece, Morena! We spent a great time together! :)

I have now started a new journal using Dylusions Spray Inks. They are fabulous! I can make so many different backgrounds!

Journal art & Some New Sketches

Ther last one has been a very artful week. The unblocking of my Sixth Chakra (for the CHAKRART FREE WORKSHOP) gave way to a lot of inspiration and I was able to complete my "Art as I See It" journal.
I made a collage of some pages, but they are not the ones I made this week. I just cannot keep the pace with creating and posting!! :)

They read:
1) If we, citizens, do not support our artists, then we sacrifice our imagination on the altar of crude reality and we end up believing in nothing and having worthless dreams. (Yann Martel, "Life of Pi")
2) A picture is a poem without words. (Horace)
3) Art is making something out of nothing, and selliing it. (Frank Zappa)

I also  took a close up of the little cute doodle bird. :)
There isn't much work lately, and my boss is giving us one day free each month.
I have been sketching some new animals and faces at work.
Here are some.
Notice that I didn't color the long beak bird. My friend Annalisa saw me drawing it and asked if she could have it. I gave her the sketch and she colored it! :))

I'll post some new works tomorrow!
