HAPPY NEW YEAR! & Wishing You New Journeys in Art!

This is my last post for 2011. It has been a busy, troubled and full year. I have known so many wonderful & artful people who have inspired my works and who gave me the strenght of keeping on drawing and creating. I usually get tired of things very easily and then fall into depression for weeks. But this year I have been able to control my "depression attacks" and use it to concentrate and create. And all of you, my friends, have helped me so much!
I wish everyone a Happy New Year filled with emotions, creativity and happiness!

2012 Prophecies?

Yesterday I was reading the news about the 2012 Mayan Prophecy. It seems that year 2012 is going to be a tough year for three reasons:

1)  According to the Maya it will bring the end of the world.

2) It will be a leap year. (In Italy we believe that leap years are unlucky).

3) According to Saint Malachy's Prophecy (12th century) the Pope #112 (the one after Benedict XVI) will be the last one. His name will be Petrus Romanus (Peter the Roman) and this is his motto:
"Qui pascet oues in multis tribulationibus: quibus transactis ciuitas septicollis diruetur, et Iudex tremẽndus iudicabit populum suum. Finis".
Translation:
"Who will nourish the sheep in many tribulations; when they are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The end".

But my Numerology Chart tells me that this is my Destiny Year #1. A year of new beginnings, hopes, encounters etc...
So?  I was going to face the new year with eagerness, my head filled with projects and new ideas!!
Well, at least I hope Pope #111 is not going to die next year! We already have big troubles in Italy! :))

I made this drawing while thinking about those prophecies. I don't think they affected me too much. :)

Whimsy Sky Digital Stamps at my Etsy Shop

During this month I have been thinking of a new project for my etsy Shop. When I first opened it, 2 years ago, I started with digital scrapbooking items. In 2011 I have been drawing a lot and I put some of my art on sale, with nice results. As I love stamping and collageing, for 2012 I have been thinking about putting on sale some of my drawings as digital stamps.
This is my first sheet.
And what I did with it.
