The Elements: Earth

Earth is my favorite Element. Perhaps it is because all my physical illness dwells in my first Chakra: Muladhara, the Root. The Element connected to this Chakra is Earth.
In Crystal Healing we use red or brown (even black, sometimes) stones to activate or heal the Root.

This is my tangled Earth:

I won't start a class of Crystal Healing here. :) If you want to know something more about the subject, please visit

The Elements: Water

Elements are very important in everyone's Spiritual Path.
Today I had to go to the dentist...... My health problems finally resulted in teeth trouble. The dentist gave me bad news for my pocket. While he was talking I started a relaxation technique, and it led me to thinking about WATER and its calming qualities. Usually I'm not a water fan. But today I started visualizing me being in a sort of amniotic bag, quiet and warm, and relaxed. I'll have to use it when the dentist starts working on my teeth!!
Here is what I "zentangled" when I came back home.

Goddesses Again! Triple Goddess and Yemaja

These are the last two Zentangle® interpretations of the Goddess for this week.
This theme could give birth to an infinite stream of drawings.
Tomorrow I'll go back to work, after three weeks of vacations. It will be very hard not to tangle while I work!!
I'll try to post something new almost every day.
But now, on with the Goddesses!

Rejoining the Goddess: Mother Goddess and Great Mother

My thoughts about my new life brought me about my former spiritual work with Crystals, Shamanism and the Goddess.
This is what resulted from my meditation.
And I guess there will be more to come, because my zentangling path is leading towards the Spirit.

Have a creative day, all!!

First Zentangle® Experiment

This was my first attempt at zentangling, one month ago.
I wasn't very satisfied by having to draw into Squares. I'm more for Ovals and Circles. :)
For the next drawings I chose not to use frames, but to create a single patterned shape.

Ok. Here it is.

What is a Timeless Ritual?

I have been drawing "senseless" patterns since I was a child.
I've never been good at drawing, so my doodles were the only way I could express myself. I still have some of them in my school diaries.
Lately, they became a way to release stress and free thoughts, and I started using them in Mandalas creations or even in Visualization exercises.
As a former Crystal Therapist, I usually "doodled" when I wrote my courses booklets and visualizations. This is a good way for having good ideas and intuitions.
Due to health and work troubles, some years ago I left my previous life behind and fell into depression.
I do know that everything passes, so I tried to work on myself and find a way out of the hole I had fallen into.
This last year has been a time of rebirth.
My work and health got better and so did my thoughts. I have been working on my body and spirit, and started a couple of new activities.

And I'M DOODLING AGAIN!!

I decided to start this blog not only to show my creations, but also to share thoughts with YOU fellow zentanglers. Each one of my zentangles is part or my daily Ritual of Relaxation and Grounding, a way of communicate with the Great Mother and be filled with her Wisdom and Creative Spirit.
This is a Journey to the Inner Self.
